Comparing Swing Lens to Ultra Wide Angle Images

 (Horizontal Images - page 2)

A picture in Central Park taken with the 12mm lens. No alterations to the image to correct for vignetting have been done.
See the prior tips for the vignetting issue with this and similar lenses.

The same location photographed with the Noblex swing-lens camera.

We set the vertical size the same as the prior one so this picture is twice as wide. After all it's a panorama.

The 30mm lens also produces a larger image of the overpass compared to the 12mm.

Noblex Lens

Here is the first image cropped to show about the same  vertical subject matter as the Noblex.
Notice the right lower corner. The noblex shows a curved fence while the 12mm image shows stretched branches. So even though the overall image is about the same there are still aesthetic differences.
The image is blurrier since it has been magnified twice as much to end up the same vertical size as the Noblex.
